About the Cirium On-Time Performance Review
Based on our industry-leading historical flight status data, the On-Time Performance Review is designed to be a competitive program. Only a select group of airlines and airports qualify for consideration.
- Airline performance is determined by on-time arrivals and airport performance is determined by on-time departures. A flight is considered on-time if it arrives or departs the gate within 14 minutes and 59 seconds (less than 15 minutes) of the scheduled time.
- We have three airline categories: Global, Major (by region) and Low Cost Carriers. Each category—except Low Cost Carriers—has winners for mainline and network operations.
- Airport rankings are determined globally and by size, which includes Large, Medium, and Small airports.
