The AirAsia Group showcased massive dominance, placing three subsidiaries (Philippines, Indonesia, and Thai) in the rankings, while Scoot demonstrated resilience, making the top ranks despite a 2-point dip in its on-time performance.

With Philippine Airlines holding the top regional position at 90.47% OTP, the latest report also highlighted the continued dominance of Thai carriers and the impressive new entry of Philippines AirAsia, which surged into the ranks following a 24-point OTP improvement.

August data showed a 24% decrease in flight cancellations, boosting On-Time Performance and crowning Philippine Airlines as the new leader in Southeast Asia. Thailand remains a key player with three airlines making the list, while Scoot is a new addition, ranking seventh.
