August data showed a 24% decrease in flight cancellations, boosting On-Time Performance and crowning Philippine Airlines as the new leader in Southeast Asia. Thailand remains a key player with three airlines making the list, while Scoot is a new addition, ranking seventh.

The leaderboard saw some key shifts. Thai AirAsia held its dominance, maintaining the top spot despite a slight decrease. Philippine Airlines secured second place with impressive consistency, holding steady at 83.77%. Meanwhile, Malaysia Airlines and Thai VietJet Air staged a remarkable comeback, climbing back into the top ranks with up to five-point improvements in On-Time Performance.
