Flexibility and a focus on development. I’ve had the opportunity to try multiple disciplines and roles until I found the one that was right for me. Cirium has given me an environment where I can experience something new, learn at a fast pace and experience opportunities to develop my career. As a professional from the banking sector, I was pleasantly surprised with the autonomy Cirium allows, promoting a sense of accountability and growth. Not only does Cirium provide opportunities, but it also has a great working culture, collaboration, and support from peers as well as support from leaders across the regions. Cirium also gives access to leadership across the organization which shows an employee’s view matters in the firms’ strategic direction.

Why do you love working in aviation?
Cirium is the first aviation job in my career. I love traveling but I never thought I would work in any other industries other than Finance. However, in the aviation industry, I get to experience my passion for traveling, connecting with people globally and leveraging my financial knowledge.
The more I learn about the aviation industry, the more my passion grows as the industry keeps evolving in business, technology, digital acumen and connecting people together.
And with Cirium, I get to experience all the points mentioned above.

Why do you think Cirium is a great place to grow your career?
The culture at Cirium is highly collaborative, supportive and friendly. I always recall a piece of advice from a senior leader at Cirium – “It’s really simple. Treat people the way you would wish to be treated yourself.” Cirium enables opportunities, with a strong focus on career development and allows people to define and pursue their path. To me, Cirium is the right organization at the right time as the aviation industry doubles down on its digital transformation programmes, presenting plenty of opportunities to learn, grow and make a difference.
Why do you love working in aviation?
The “why” is sometimes hard to articulate when you are so passionate about something. There are few industries as dynamic as aviation – where no two days are the same. I enjoy working in aviation as it makes it possible for people to come together, see more of the world and experience the thrill of being airborne. I particularly enjoy the buzz of an airport, full of activity with people heading to various destinations – it’s magic!

Opportunities: I always believe that everyone should have equal opportunity, regardless of their backgrounds. Everyone has a fair chance in the company. There are plenty of opportunities for me to learn and develop. Also, I can work with different teams globally.
Culture: I enjoy working with a team to achieve a common goal. The culture here is top-notch and the management is just like my mentor. They support my learning and development on the job and reward hard work. These are values I appreciated. I feel Cirium is a great place to work.
你为什么喜欢在航空业工作？
在加入Cirium之前，我已经在航空公司工作很多年了。然而，在2020年加入Cirium后，我意识到航空相关的知识就像天空一样宽阔，而我之前学习到的知识是有限的。经过不断的努力工作和学习，我丰富了航空知识，特别是航空数据解决方案相关的。包括但不限于行业分析及解决方案，资产管理和运营管理等….我感觉自己比以前更专业了， 更觉得现在的自己才是一个真正的航空业从业者。但是学习永无止境。这就是为什么我喜欢在航空行业，并将继续在这个行业工作。
Why do you love working in aviation?
I had many years of airline working experience before I joined Cirium. However, after joining Cirium in 2020, I realized that aviation knowledge is as wide as the sky, and what I had learned before was limited. After several years of hard work and study, my aviation knowledge, especially aviation data solutions-related is more abundant. It Includes but not limited to Industry analysis solutions, assets Management and operation Management etc…. I feel more professional and more like a real aviation practitioner than before. But learning never ends. That’s why I love working in aviation and will continue to work in the industry.
